Why Boudoir?

Capturing Boudoir images is a true honor. I hold space for each client to help them discover their inner strength and beauty, and to stand empowered in their bodies no matter the size or shape. Each boudoir session is a true experience. We begin with getting to know each other prior to your session, so I can understand your vision and "why" you are seeking a boudoir session with Willow Creek Photography. We will discuss body type, any insecurities or trepidation (or your fearless attitude!) and get a feel for what you imagine for your session. Maybe you are looking for a confidence boost after a body alteration (ie: pregnancy, weight loss/gain, surgery etc), maybe you are looking to add spice to your relationship by gifting these images to a partner or significant other, or maybe you just need to feel pampered and sexy for the day! Whatever the reason, we are ready for you!

What is included in your boudoir experience?

Our $400 session fee includes the following.

Pre Session Consultation:

Let’s chat and get to know each other! We will go over all of the details, I will take some notes to get a vision for your session, and go over any questions you may have.

Professional hair and makeup application:

You will start your day off with a professional hair and makeup application tailored to your preferences. Go as natural or as glam as you’d like!

Access to our Client Wardrobe:

Our client wardrobe offers a variety of styles and sizes (xs-4x). From body suits, bra and undie sets, to wings and pasties we have you covered!

Expert guidance and posing:

Throughout the entire session we will give step by step instructions on posing. Leaving no detail unnoticed.

Professional retouching:

After your session we will edit each one of your images before you see them,

Same day viewing and ordering:

We will display your images on the big screen in slide show format then hand select your favorites for print. We have examples of all of our products in the studio.

FAQs

  • Our private studio is centrally located off of Randall Parkway in Wilmington in between College Rd and Kerr Ave.

  • We apply basic edits, blemish removal, skin smoothing, lingerie tags, etc. Always preserving the natural shape of the body. We always say, if you can change it in one week, it will be edited. Having this type of session is meant to help you love your body just how it is. Posing and lighting help with accentuating the most perfect parts of you!

  • Absolutely! We believe boudoir is something every woman should experience at least once in their lifetime. Our in-house payment plans are 30% down with he remaining balance being spaced out according to your budget. Most women split into 2-4 large payments or make weekly or bi-weekly smaller payments.

  • This is totally up to you. We have a client closet in the studio with a range of styles and sizes from sizes XS-4X. Some bring a suitcase, some only bring one or two of their own items. Every session is different. We will go over this in more detail during your Pre Session-Consult.

  • Item You will see your images the same day as your session! After we are done shooting, we will send you out for a quick lunch while your images are prepared for viewing. Once you return, we will display your images in slide show format on our 60-inch tv screen. Once your ordering session in complete you can expect your collection via mail within 2-3 weeks.

    If you need your images by a specific date, we advise booking 4-6 weeks prior to your desired date.

  • Privacy is something we take very seriously here at Willow Creek Photography. If you wish to keep your images private, that is absolutely your choice. We do however love to share your beautiful images if you allow us to do so!

  • Our collections consist of our heirloom albums, folio boxes, and stunning metal prints. We also offer add-on products such as 12-month wall calendars, acrylic photo blocks, playing cards and more!
